The royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose the Myna Mahila Foundation as one of the charities they requested to donate to, in place of sending or giving them wedding gifts.

Myna Mahila Foundation gives power to women from slum areas by working and running for the door to door awareness program regarding the menstrual hygiene and many other health-related matters. This NGO also offers employment to women by training them to manufacture sanitary napkins.

Women’ empowerment charity manufactures as well as distributes low cost and affordable sanitary napkins to women in Mumbai slums. It is the only non-UK organization selected by the royal couple as beneficiaries of donations instead of the wedding gifts.
Suhani Jalota met Meghan in 2016, the time when she went to offer an acceptance speech at Glamour College women of year awards. Suhani alleged that ‘Meghan is well researched as well as very sincere.
