Prior to finding Kaaryah, Nidhi has worked as a Director, at Honeywell India, that dealt in building the Space and Missiles business. She has also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Bain&Co. Her exceptional thought process and service delivery skills have won her amazing recognition and rewards.

Her designs, creativity, and her innovative approach, make her an amazing professional. She is known for her detailed oriented attitude towards things and her way of managing the market challenges. What Motivates me?

It gives me amazing pride to read and write stories about women who know their value. Not all of us have the qualities to fight against all odds and work towards the nation’s progress. We often compromise with our destinies and take life as it comes. There are exceptions like Nidhi Agarwal who build their own life. When Nidhi completed her MBA, she had little idea about opening a business of her own, but her passion in research and marketing made her kept moving on.

Things were challenging for Nidhi too, but that’s how a business works based on challenges and competition. I would not call Nidhi a feminist, but she respects and cares for women as she is herself one. Apart from the business profits, she equally gives values to women needs in respect to apparels. She knows how much a woman desires to look pretty and get appreciated for her beauty. Her keen interest in introducing various sizes to give the best fit shows it all in her work.

Nidhi is a self-made woman. She is a perfect example of never giving up attitude. Her company was rejected by 113 investors, but that never left Nidhi hopeless. After all, it was worth the wait when she received the proposal from the big shot Mr. Ratan Tata for generating investment for her company. Finally, Nidhi took a sigh of relief from all those storms of innumerable calls, emails, and personal meetings made to the various investors.

I love one thing about her, she is highly focused! It is easy for women to weep, but very difficult to wipe the tears and move on. Nidhi never carried her bag of emotions till her work place. She is highly professional and expects the same in her work environment. Her emotions reflect through her hard work and efforts she has put to make the business run. When she is home, she is a completely different person altogether.

Nidhi has always been brand conscious and she just loved the perfect fit of clothes. However, she used to find it frustrating to see that the limited sizes would never allow her to be happy after buying clothes for herself. This is what kept running in her mind, which made her setup Kaaryah with a concept of bridging the gap between Indian and western formals by introducing 18 sizes to have the best fit.
