Hi, I am Meghna Aggarwal Singhania, CEO/Editor In Chief of ‘Medical Dialogues‘ – An Msc In Economics from the London School of Economics and a health researcher, Meghna started Medical Dialogues in 2015 to empower doctors with healthcare news and happenings across the country as well as their own field of practice.
Medical Dialogues Beginning
Medical Professionals need to keep themselves abreast with the latest happenings in the medical field whether technological developments, research updates as well as policy decisions related to their field. However, there is no one platform that provides them with this information in a simplified and timely manner. Doctors on the other hand have to incur a lot of search costs and subscription costs to get relevant updated information about the medical field.
Since doctors need to be updated with latest medical knowledge to help them improve their practice and benefit patients, with this background, Medical Dialogues was started as a one stop platform to To empower healthcare professionals by providing them with relevant, authentic, trustworthy health information in a timely manner.

What challenges did you face?
Medical Dialogues had very humble beginnings in the form of a WordPress blog to now the largest medical newsportal for doctors in the country.
This journey has indeed been one one with its ups and downs, with challenges ranging from technical front, content generation to marketing. Our solution to all these problems have come via two basic principals of working- Hardwork and Constant Innovations to keep on meeting the information needs of medical practitioners.
What’s the current path, Medical Dialogues funding and the future plans?
Medical Dialogues is a bootstrapped venture- currently profitable and fast moving towards expansion. Our primary advertisers are pharma companies with names in the top 10 pharma companies being our clients. Other advertisers include medical device firms, publishers, medical colleges and universities and other advertisers which wishes to reach out to the target audience of medical professionals niche.
Future plans include expanding the base of readership to include nurses and technicians with the same idea to empower them with the latest information in their fields.
