33-year-old Anand Piramal is son of the business tycoon, Ajay Piramal. Anand is known for his sharp business and prudent attitude. He believes in bringing change in Indian society with meaningful interventions.

Anand’s father Ajay Piramal is the Chairman of the Piramal and Shriram Groups.
Though the net worth of Anand Piramal is not known yet, his father’s net worth, as per Forbes 2020, is $1.7 billion.
In 1977, Ajay Piramal started his family business of textiles at the age of 22; the business later saw an expansion with financial, pharma and healthcare services.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of the Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology in Indore.
His uncle Dilip Piramal is the chairperson of the VIP industries.

When Anand returned to India after completing his studies, he was in a dilemma whether to choose consultancy or join his father’s business; Anand was just 25-year-old then.

In 2012, he founded another startup named Piramal Realty, and that’s how the Piramals started their realty business.
This year itself the Piramal Realty is said to have sold around 250 flats.
The private equity investment of Piramal Realty is $434 million, which Anand raised from Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus.
Oh, and did we tell that Anand Piramal is the youngest President of the Indian Merchant Chamber of the youth wing.
